A Symbol of Our Values
A logo is often the first thing people notice about a brand.
For us, it was the last thing we designed.
At first glance, it's a simple geometric form. Under closer inspection, you'll notice it is made up of nine individual points, arranged in perfect balance around a central core.
To us, those nine points represent specific core values we live by and feel are important to drive human potential and excellence.
Not perfection.
Excellence.
Because perfection is impossible, but striving to become a little better every day is something anyone can strive towards.
Nine Values. One Standard.
We like to think of the nine points as nine core values that guide us, how we develop products and drive the brand forward in a positive way.
Those values are:
- Integrity – Doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.
- Transparency – Being open, honest, and accountable in everything we do.
- Curiosity – Never stop learning or asking better questions.
- Craftsmanship – Taking pride in the details others overlook.
- Courage – Making difficult decisions and embracing uncertainty.
- Humility – Remaining open to improvement, no matter your achievements.
- Resilience – Continuing forward despite setbacks.
- Purpose – Building a life guided by intention rather than convenience.
- Excellence – Setting a higher standard for yourself every single day.
These aren't meant to be seen as rules.
More so simple guides.
Values we try to live by as a company, and values we hope our community identifies with in their own way.
Hidden Throughout Every Watch
You'll find the rosette throughout every Emerton Scott timepiece.
It's carefully engraved into the crown—the one part of the watch you physically interact with every day.
It's incorporated into our branding, our packaging, and throughout the entire ownership experience.
Not because we wanted to place our logo everywhere, but because we wanted the values behind it to remain close to the people who wear our watches.
Our hope is that, years from now, the Emerton Scott rosette won't simply be recognised as our emblem.
It will be recognised as a symbol of people who choose to hold themselves to a higher standard everyday.
